shitty day at office

had a shitty day at office yesterday. was rushing for december deadlines. managed to finish all my writing yesterday (was due since 18th nov...then postponed to 25th nov...then yesterday). company's designer is hospitalized...so boss had to call in a freelancer. we'll definitely be late for december issue again coz the freelance designer only started working on layout this week. not too sure if can finish by next week.

lowest point of the day came from a phone call to a client/advertiser. one of my company's magazine source of income is thru advertising...so had to call this lady about what she wanted for the ad. there was some miscommunication somewhere coz the layout wasn't up to her satisfaction at all. i would've been ok if she pointed out, nicely, what she wanted. but no! she had to be sooooo bloody irritating and rude on the phone...and she got me totally sitting on the edge and rolling my eyes at everything she said. add to that...she kept me waiting on the phone with her weird long pauses...i gave up after the 5th long pause and hung up the phone.

and guess what? she emailed back to my colleague and me...complaining about the lack of creativity on the designer's part, me being incompetent and a whole lot of bull. she even threatened to pull out from december's ad. if we don't come up with a better ad. hello woman??!! if u expect better service and competence on our part, you better do yours too! this idiot's company hasn't been paying my company for the past 4 months and she's the one doing all the complaining??? ugh...i'm not the only one who has to put up with this moron. a number of my colleagues have had to deal with her and she hasn't been nice to them either.

sigh...i think i need to better control my temper else i'd be in big trouble. just last week i kinda lost it to a very rude caller complaining about something my company didn't do. stephanie, priscilla...if u're reading this...please remind me next time k? >.<>
