move over...for a makeover

ah...post makeover update. feel too weird and shy to post a picture here, so i shall blog in text only. keke :p

dragged noie along for the makeover @ maybelline kiosk in one utama. lucky for us, the kiosk was easy to find - just behind the cinema in the old wing. otherwise...it'd have meant us walking up and down, round and round...one utama just looking for the kiosk!

let's see if i can recall the steps that the makeup artiste took to "revamp" my face...

• apply liquid foundation
• trim/shape my eyebrows, using scissors and blade (no kidding! snip snip snip...and off my unruly eyebrow hairs went! :p). was expecting the makeup artiste to pluck the hairs out...luckily it wasn't that painful (as she shaved rather than plucked)...but i'll have to shave every so often to prevent the hairs from growing back @.@
• put on eyeshadow (think she used yellow/beige and blue colour)
• curl the eyelashes with that "eyelash shaper thingamajig", then brush the eyelashes with a few strokes of mascara
• add a few strokes of blusher
• dab on some lipstick with a lip brush
• touch up the lip with some shiny lip gloss

erm...think that's about it. overall results looked pretty good. but i had some dissatisfactions with the makeup artiste's service. she was polite, but not friendly. whatever questions that noie and i asked her were mostly answered with one-word replies. she didn't even explain what she was doing or what product she was using. it felt like she was just there to do here job, and nothing beyond that. *sigh*
