oscar fever!

was following the 'live' telecast of the oscards on 8tv...as well as following updates on yahoo.com

am delighted to announce that LOTR: ROTK swept this year's oscars!!! 11 won in total...including best director, adapted screenplay, art direction, costume design, film editing, makeup, sound & original score. but best of all, the movie got the "best picture" oscar! yea!!! woohoo!!! finally get the award it deserves :D

okay...now my comments about the stars on the red carpet. i lurrrrrved nicole kidman's & renee zellweger's gowns...simply gorgeous! these 2 ladies can simply do no wrong! naomi watts & angelina jolie's dresses were beautiful too :) so was jennifer garner's. but...uma thurman was simply weird. looks like the dutch lady milkmaid's dress gone wrong...way wrong! charlize theron...hers was just so so. not very outstanding...kinda blah...her very tanned skin stood out against all the other fairer skinned actresses :p julianne moore...i preferred the lovely green dress you wore last year. liv tyler wore this very thick rimmed, black glasses when presenting...looked so nerdy...wonder if she's short/long sighted...coz she din wear any glasses when seated among the audience. johnny depp has a new hairstyle! reminds me of a floppy-haired, boyband member...hahaha!!
